John H. “Chat” Jackson, 80, of China Spring, died Thursday, July 3 at a local hospital.
Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at BrookView Funeral Home with the Rev. Donnie Brown officiating. Burial will be at China Spring Cemetery.
Mr. Jackson was born July 29, 1916 in China Spring to Ben and Mary Jackson. He was a member of First Baptist Church of China Spring. He married Alfredia Olson on February 14, 1941. He retired in 1977 from Amaco Corp in Chicago after 36 years with the company.
He is survived by his wife, Alfredia Jackson; brother, Joe Jackson; and several nieces and nephews.
