Haycraft, Billie Neal Sr., 86, retired Baskin-Robbins owner and retired U.S. Air Force general's aide, died May 17. Services (Vondel L. Smith & Son North, Oklahoma City).

Billie Neal Haycraft Sr. passed peacefully at home into the arms of his savior on May 17, 2017. He married his soul mate Wilma Bagley on November 26, 1955. They had 3 sons.

Bill was a loyal, honest, good man who served his country in the US Air Force for 22+ years. After retirement, Billie and Wilma owned the Baskin Robbins store on NW 50th in Oklahoma City where you always received great service and delicious treats with a smile. After selling the store, he worked for his friend Wade Peard at Central Oklahoma Fire & Safety for more than 15 years ensuring fire systems were safe. Billie loved the outdoors and was always ready to go on hunting and fishing expeditions. He enjoyed bowling in many leagues and touched everyone he met.

"Pa Pa Bill" was adored by his 9 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. He will be sorely missed by all.

He was preceded in death by both parents, his bride of 53 years and his son Eddie Haycraft.

He is survived by his sons Bill Haycraft Jr. and Fiancee Patti Beard and Don and Christy Haycraft; daughter in law Mrs. (Eddie) Christy Haycraft. Sister Sue Riggs. He's also survived by his grandchildren Christie Taylor, Trey Haycraft, Courtney and Brandt Cox, Natalie Haycraft, Chris and Rylee Haycraft, Rachel and Charlie Bright, Matthew Haycraft, Megan Haycraft and Fiance Colin McFerran and James Haycraft.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to City Rescue Mission or Childrens Hospital Foundation.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 19, 2017 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, the family will be present to receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Services to honor & celebrate his life will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at the North Colonial Chapel of Vondel Smith Mortuary 13125 N. MacArthur, OKC 73173.
