Ossie Lee Cotton Anderson, 56, of Marks, formerly of Memphis, a teacher in the Quitman County School System, died Wednesday, October 3, 1995, at her home after an apparent heart attack. Services were Monday, October 9, at Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Lambert, where she was a member, with burial in Booker Cemetery east of Marks. Delta Burial Corporation of Marks had charge.

Ms. Anderson leaves two daughters, Rebecca Anderson Taylor and Karen R. Anderson, both of Memphis; her father, S. A. Cotton of Dorchester, MA; four sisters, Dean Clay, Lassie Latham and Bedeliah Sweargen, all of Marks, and Michelle Cotton of Mass.; three brothers, Anthony Cotton of Chatsworth, CA, and Billy Cotton and Gabriel Cotton, both of Mass., and three grandchildren.
