Joyce H. Age 72, of County Route 16, Watkins Glen, NY, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, December 23, 2003 at the Seneca View Nursing Facility, Montour Falls, NY. Mrs. Hughey is survived by her husband, Lynn W. Hughey; Children, Judy and Paul Ginther of Ludlow, PA, Walter and Gail Hughey of Watkins Glen, NY, Dale and Denice Hughey of Watkins Glen, NY, and Diane and Marvin Whitson of Limestone, TN; Grandchildren, Andy, Tabatha, Tara, Jessica, Caitlin, Michael, Joe, Amy, Paige, Dayne and Christopher; two Great-grandchildren; Sister, June Estep of Montour Falls, NY; and Brother, Walter (Lorraine) Ector of Montour Falls, NY; many nieces, nephews and a host of Loved ones and friends. It was Mrs. Hughey's wishes that there be no prior calling hours and that a private funeral service be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place in Sugar Hill Cemetery. Those wishing to remember Mrs. Hughey may do so through memorials to the Seneca View Nursing Facility or to the Schuyler County Volunteer Ambulance Association. Arrangements under the direction of Vedder and Scott Funeral Home, Montour Falls, NY.
