Donald W. Elliott, 79, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Scott Township and Carnegie, passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2014. Mr. Elliott was born and raised in McDonald. He was a 1957 graduate of Washington & Jefferson College, serving in the U.S. Army in the Panama Canal Zone after graduation. He was a sales representative for Amerock Corp. for 28 years, retiring in 1995. Mr. Elliott enjoyed singing and was a member of Char Val Singers and ICTUS choruses. He was the devoted father of Donald R. "Russ" Elliott of Scott Township and Leah Ann (Rich) Cass of Whitehall; loving grandfather of Megan and Kevin Cass; beloved companion of Patricia A. Barkovich of Pittsburgh's Spring Hill neighborhood; and brother of the late Jean Barrett and Thomas M. Elliott. There will be no visitations. Service and interment will be private.
