OBITUARY

Mrs. Delta F. George, 70, of Uniontown was killed in a two-car collision at the intersection of Highway K-146 and a Neosho County road about 5 p.m., May 26, 1966.

..The Highway Patrol reported Mrs. Geoge was dead on arrival at Labette Medical Center in Parsons, Kas.

Also injured in the collision was Herschel C. George, Uniontown, who was admitted to the center in serious condition. He was driving at the time the accident occurred. Mrs. Dorris F. George and Steven A. George, 3, were both treated and released.

..The patrol said the Richardson car was traveling weSt on K-146, when it was struck in the right side by the George vehicle at the intersection.

..Both persons in the second car were admitted to the medical center with serious injuries. They are Verlyn and Emily E. Richardson of Erie, Kas.

..Mrs. George was the widow of Mitchel H. (Mitch) George.

She was born at Uniontown, April 27, 1896, the daughter of Miles and Cora Bolyard Holt. She married Mr. George Nov. 11, 1915, in Fort Scott. He preceded her in death June 3, 1965. Mrs. George was a member of the Uniontown Methodist Church.

..Surviving are three children, William M. George, Uniontown; Mrs. Eleanor Boileau, Redfield; and Mrs. Charlene Leonard, Pleasanton. Also surviving are one brother, Sam Holt, Uniontown, and two sisters, Mrs. Alice Warren, Bronson, and Mrs. Iva Wittsell, Uniontown. There are ten grandchildren.

..Funeral services were held Saturday, May 28, 1966 in the Uniontown Methodist Church with Rev. Ron Farrell, pastor, officiating. Earl's Memorial Home was in charge of the service.
