We are saddened by the loss of our loving mother, grandmother and sister, Shirley Ann (Griesner) Shatswell, born on September 11, 1935 in Oakdale, CA. She passed into the care of her Lord and Savior on May 13, 2016 in Oakdale, CA. Shirley was preceded in death by her Father, Roy Griesner; Mother, Martha Griesner; Sister, Claire Taro; and daughter, Cindy George. She leaves behind three children whom she loved dearly, Greg Shatswell, Tim Shatswell, and Tina Mitschelen, along with her sister Kathy Dickens and five grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held in the Salas Brother Funeral Chapel at 419 Scenic Drive, Modesto, CA, on Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. Interment will immediately follow at the Burwood Cemetery on River Road, in Escalon, CA. A family and friends gathering will be held at the Nazarene Church, 1700 West F. Street, Oakdale, CA.
