Everitt Hill was the son of Lloyd and Annie Hill. He was born in Iowa, and grew up in Alberta, Canada. He worked as an accountant. He returned to the U.S. and married Lorraine O'Brien on July 15, 1933. They had three children and seven grandchildren.
