Services were at 2 pm Sunday at the home of Robert J. Booth, 110 Elm Street, Groton, the Rev. L. Bible of Watchtower Bible Society, South Lansing, officiating. He was assisted by the Rev. A. L. Barrett of the Methodist Church of Groton. Burial was in Groton Rural Cemetery.

Mrs. Ethel M. Pierce, 58, Groton, R. D. 2, dies
Mrs. Ethel M. Pierce, 58, of Groton R. D. 2, wife of John V. pierce, died last evening at her home one mile East of Groton, following a long illness.
Born October 19, 1892, at McGraw, she was the daughter of Arthur and Nora Bell Loomis. Mrs. Pierce was a resident of Groton 21 years.
Surviving are her husband, three sons, Emerald A. Pierce of Groton, J. Raymond Pierce of Lafayette, and Keith V. Pierce of Groton,; a daughter, Miss Sylvia M. Pierce of Groton, and a brother, DeForest Loomis of Cortland.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the home of Robert J. Booth, 110 Elm Street, Groton. Rev. R. Bible of the Watchtower Bible Society of South Lansing, assisted by Rev. Allen L. Barrett, pastor of the Groton Methodist Church, will officiate. Internment will be in Groton Cemetery. Friends, who have been asked to omit flowers, May call from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Booth home.
