In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Virginia "Ginger" Degler; and brothers, William "Bill" Leavell and Charles "Tip" Leavell.
Surviving are his wife, Brenda Leavell of Waynesboro; brothers, John Leavell (Marge), and Ed Leavell, both of Waynesboro, and "Bud" Leavell (Pam) of Elgin, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation at McDow Funeral Home, however friends may call anytime at his residence. A graveside service will be at held at 11 a.m.Tuesday, May 2, 2017,in Mt.
