Grover C. Burrier
Funeral services for Grover C. Burrier, 81, of Gratiot, will be 1:30 p. m. Friday in the William Thompson and Son Funeral Home in White Cottage, Ohio. The Rev. O. W. Scheidemantel will officiate.
Mr. Burrier died at 11:35 a.m. Tuesday in Good Samaritan Hospital, Zanesville.
He was born Aug. 14, 1883, in Indiana, the son of Joseph Wheeler and Sarah Amanda Norman Burrier.
Mr. Burrier was a retired veterinarian and farmer. He had been a resident of Gratiot for the past 50 years, and was a member of Mt. Olive United Brethren Church.
Survivors include his wife, Effie M. Barnes Burrier of the home; two sisters, Mrs. W. O. Michael of Gratiot and Mrs. Blanche Weakley of Newark.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 this evening and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m. Thursday. Burial will be in Poplar Forks Cemetery.
