Services for Oleta Cox, 89, are set for 10 am Monday at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro, with the Rev. Jerry Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery, under the direction of Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro.
Mrs. Cox died Feb. 1, 2007, at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center in Sherman.
She was born on Jan. 3, 1918, in Collinsville to Eber and Edna (Owens) Swindle. She attended Collinsville Schools and later married Alfred H. Cox.
Cox is survived by a brother, Ned Swindle of Collinsville; two sisters, Dorothy Carney of Collinsville and Nedra Boaz of Denton, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred H. Cox; parents, Eber and Edna Swindle; infant Child, Linda Sharon Cox; three brothers, Ty Swindle, Eber Swindle Jr., and J.B. Swindle; three sisters, Lena Bell Jones, Catherine Kerr and Nannie Lee Swindle.
Pallbearers are: Roger Kerr, Marshall Carney, Bruce Vannoy, Berry Vannoy, Brent Vannoy, Mikey Vannoy and Tony Russell.
