David Frazier was born about January 11, 1809 in Roneys Point, in Ohio County, West Virginia.
David Frazier was 1st married on May 6, 1837 in Ohio County, Virginia to Agnes Nancy Giffin, who was born on 14 Jan 1812 in Brooke County, West Virginia.

3. Daniel Giffin Frazier, born c. September 20, 1841 in Ohio County, Virginia (now West Virginia). During the Civil War, Daniel served in Co. D of the 12th West Virginia Volunteer Infantry.

David Frazier was then married 2nd to Sarah (Shaw) Dixon on May 6, 1852 in Ohio County, Virginia. Sarah Shaw was born c. 1806/07 in Pennsylvania and had been previously married to James Dixon, who was born in 1789. James Dixon and Sarah Shaw were married in the 1820's and had at least seven children of their own. James Dixon died on Nov. 13, 1849 in his 60th year and his mortal remains were laid in the West Liberty Cemetery in West Liberty, Ohio County, Virginia (now West Virginia).
