CROUCH, Edward Ernest
age 89 passed away on February 3, 2007, at 4:02 p.m., at his home in Palmdale. Ed followed his beloved wife Nora of 61 years 10 short weeks after her passing on November 18, 2006. The family would like to offer a special thank you to the professional caregivers at Hoffman Hospice. Born in Cambridge Massachusetts in 1918, Edward served as a Chief Petty Officer in the United States Navy for 30 years traveling the world and proudly serving his country. Following his Navel retirement, Ed began a new career of 25 years at Lockheed Aircraft in Burbank and Palmdale California. After retirement he worked as groundskeeper at St Mary's Catholic Church in Palmdale. Edward is survived by his five daughters, Janice Pinkerton, of Corpus Christi Texas, Sandra Roberts, of Palmdale, Barbara Crouch of Atlanta Georgia, Brenda Moore of Gaithersburg Maryland and Mary Morrow, of Palmdale. Ed's legacy is survived by his 27 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren. His kind and gentle soul will be greatly missed. A gathering of family and friends will be at Desert Lawn Memorial Park in Palmdale at 10 a.m., Wednesday February 5, 2007.
