He wa sorn July 8, 1948 in Anderson, and was a lifelong resident.
He was a tool and die maker for Guide lamp 30 years before retiring in 1996. He served in the National Gurad form 1971 to 1977. He was an avid fisherman. He was a loving and caring husband and dad.
Survivors include his wife, Donna"Marlene" (Lane)Cunningham of Anderson, whom he married July 26, 1969, in Elwood; his mother, Ethel Valena(Strottlemyer) Cunningham of Anderson; a daughter, Sherry Cunningham and fiance' David Dudley of Muncie; a son, George Aaron Cunningham of Anderson; two brothers,Gary (Leta)and Randy Cunningham all of Anderson; special friends, Fred and Diana Haney, several other friends in Alabama; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, George A. Cunningham.
