Fred Williams, 52, of Memphis, formerly of Marks, a former truck driver for Weiss Auto Parts, died of heart disease on Sunday, January 26, 1997, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis.

Services were at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 1, at TrueChurch House of Prayer To All Nations in Memphis with burial in Shady Grove (Booker) Cemetery near Marks. Delta Burial Corporation of Marks had charge.

Mr. Williams, the husband of Bobbie Jean Nelson, also leaves six daughters, Rotanza Adams, Tracy Taylor, Sharon Adams, Sherica Adams, Karen Adams, and Latasha Adams and eight sons, Michael Nelson, Dermon Adams, Fred Williams, Jr., Anthony Taylor, Ramon Taylor, Halbert Taylor, Rod Taylor, and Donnell Taylor, all of Memphis; his mother, Estella Williams Miller; a sister, Maggie Williams Gipson; a step brother, James Westbrook; and 25 grandchildren.
