Janet Louise Wade, 79, of Cumberland, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, April 6, 2017, at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.
Born in Cumberland at the family home on Miltenberger Place, she was the daughter of the late Minnie and John Randall.
Janet was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Janet was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Raymond Randall, John Randall, Elaine Shadwell, Helen Rice, Ruth Bittner, Dorothy Phillips, and her twin sister, Jane Randall; and stepdaughter, Wendy Yost.
A graduate of Fort Hill High School, class of 1956, Janet was employed at Whitacre's Gift Shop, the Strand and Maryland Theatres, and the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A.
Janet was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, and she later became a member of New Covenant United Methodist Church.
Janet was preceded in death by the love of her life, Robert C. Wade, whom she married in 1976.
Janet is survived by her stepdaughters, Deborah Mosier, Cumberland, Linda Marean and husband, Bill, Cumberland, and Theresa Cage, Cumberland; stepson, Donald J. Wade, with whom she resided; step-grandchildren, Shannon Winfield and husband, Travis, Joshua Mosier and wife, Casey, Tim Marean and wife, Tammy, Danny Marean and wife, Ashley, Sarah Marean, Christopher and wife, Jennifer, Stephen Cage, Robert Cage, Sam Cage and Tori Martin, Ashley Stuart and husband, Justin, Toby Wade, and Jack Fargo; and step-great-grandchildren, Brannon Winfield, Andrew Winfield, Ethan Mosier, Zach Mosier, Hailey Mosier, Hayden Mosier, Caleb Marean, Abby Cage, Cameron Cage, Addilynn Cage, Scarlet Cage, Jack Fargo Jr., and Marissa Wade.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Tuesday, April 11, 2017, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home at 1 p.m.
Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
