She was born April 19, 1938, in Athens County, Ohio, to the late Cecil and Helen Cremeans. She was a member of the Decatur Methodiat Church and enjoyed reading, gardening, music and grandchildren.
She is survived by three children, Mitch Judson of Vincent, Laura (Bob) Jordan of Cutler, Wayne (Becky) Judson of Belpre; one sister, Phyllis Perdue of Vincent; three brothers, Russell V. (Brenda) Cremeans of Albany, Lowell G. Cremeans and Ronnie Cremeans both of Georgia; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse (Bill) Backus; one son, John Judson and an infant granddaughter, Samantha Judson.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 8, 2017, at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Coolville, Ohio, with Dwayne Stutler and Paul McGuire officiating. Burial will follow in the Decatur Cemetery.
