Lloyd Brinton was born in Kentucky per the 1850, 60 and 1870 census. He was born blind and deaf, so he lived with his parents until he passed away in 1871. His father Bryant Brinton, Jr had predeceased him, but his mother lived another 10 years after his death.
He is buried in New Providence Cemetery, Putnam County, IN.

"Brinton- On Saturday noon, September 2d, 1871, near Mt. Meridian, Loyd[sic] Brinton, aged about 47 years.
Mr. Brinton was a bachelor, and highly respected. The remains were interred Sunday afternoon at New Providence Church."
