Mae E. Hawk Stadtmiller, 91 of Indiana died Wednesday March 17, 2004 at the Indiana Regional Medical Center. A daughter of Calvin D. and Ethel G. (Schall) Hawk, she was born August 15, 1912 in Rockville, Armstrong Co. PA.

Mrs Stadtmiller was a member of the St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church in Indiana.

Prior to retirement, she was employed in the shoe department of the former Brody Bros. store in Indiana from 1934-1979.

She was a memeber of the following: The Catholic Daughters of America Court 339, The Women of the Moose Lodge 1260, The Ladies Auxiliary of the Elks, Indiana Hospital Auxiliary, and AARP Chapter 552.

She is survived by several cousins and many friends.

She was preceeded in death by her parents, her husband, Lawrence "Stoddy" Stadtmiller in August 1989, and an infant brother.

Friends and family will be recieved at the Bruce-Mihalcik Funeral Home in Indiana today from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10am Saturday at St Bernard of Clarraux Catholic Church, Indiana. Internment will follow in the church cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Visiting Nurse Association of Indiana Co., or Meals on Wheels.
