Daughter of the Rev. Josiah Sherman (1729-1789) and Martha Minot (daughter of of the Hon. James Minot of Concord, by his 2nd wife, Elizabeth Merrick of Brookfield).

Most likely buried in Mount Avon Cemetery, Rochester, Mich., next to her husband Nathaniel Baldwin.

Note: It is possible that Nathaniel and Susanna were buried on their farm two miles south of the village of Rochester and later moved to Mount Avon Cemetery. There is no headstone at Mount Avon for Susanna.

Notes for SHERMAN BALDWIN: He lived in Bloomfield, N. Y. and had a wife and 3 children.He died by putting the muzzle of a loaded gun to his mouth, and pulling the trigger with his foot.
