Caroline Keller Wolff, 78, formerly of York passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Homestead Village, Lancaster. She was the wife of Bruce N. Wolff.
Caroline was born on August 7, 1938 in York. She was the daughter of the late Dorothy (Strack) Keller and H. Dietz Keller, Jr. She was also the step-daughter of the late Marjorie Keller.
She graduated prep school from Lankenau in Philadelphia and college from Green Mountain College in Poultney, VT. After college, Caroline returned back to York where she met her future husband, Bruce, at the York Little Theater. After marrying Bruce in 1963, they moved to Philadelphia where Caroline worked for Fidelity Bank. Eventually Caroline and Bruce moved back to York where they raised their children, Allen Wolff and Allison (Wolff) Kesser.
Caroline loved to spend time with her family and friends, especially her four grandchildren. She also enjoyed gardening and traveling. While she resided in York, she was a member of St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Junior League of York.
Caroline is survived by her husband of 54 years, Bruce; her son, Allen Wolff and his wife, Lisa of Burlington, NC; her daughter, Allison (Wolff) Kesser and her husband, Doug of Lancaster; her four grandchildren, Bryton and Samuel Wolff and Lillian and Elliot Kesser; her sister, Katie (Keller) Bulette of York; and her step-sister, Elaine Beecher of York.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 1 p.m. at St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church, 839 West Market Street, York with the Rev. Kevin T. Shively officiating. A visitation will be held Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church. A private burial was held in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Schreiber Pediatric Rehab Center, 625 Community Way, Lancaster, PA 17603.
