She fought a battle with Diabetes for about 25 years and was forced to undergo dialysis three days a week for the past 16 months. Her heart could not keep up with the battle and she died peacefully in her favorite chair at home surrounded by family members and her husband of more than 48 years. A pot-luck memorial service will be held Sunday January 28 at 11 o'clock in the morning at the Animas Community Center. There will be no graveside service or burial.
