Mrs. June Pickard Scroggs, 50, of Fayetteville, died Thursday in a local hospital after a long illness. Born June 20, 1927 in Cabot, the daughter of Sam and Evie Stephens Pickard, she was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Fayetteville.

She is survived by her husband, James E. Scroggs, one daughter, Mrs. Marilyn Carson of Conway, two sons, James A. and Jeffery S., both of Fayetteville; one sister, Mrs. Reba Pickard Seaton of Tulsa; her mother, also of Tulsa and one grandchild.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church in Fayetteville with burial in the Martin Cemetery in Larue.
