Surviving are her husband, William of Heuvelton; two daughters, Margie Brian Kirk of Carmel IN and Alexa Backus and fiancé Christopher Fussner of Genoa IL; stepmother, Gertrude D Fatcheric; a brother, John Terri Fatcheric of Warners NY; 4 sisters, Joan Peter Neigler of NYC; Cindy Lee Foley of Warners NY; Dr. Eileen Michael Fatcheric-Burns of Syracuse; Maureen Clark Martin of Syracuse; 3 grandchildren. Connie was born on Dec 26, 1941 in Syracuse, daughter of Dr. John A & Mary Rita McCabe Fatcheric. She graduated from St. Patrick's High School and continued education at D'Youville College in Buffalo. She married William H Backus on Feb 19, 1966 at St. Patrick's Church in Syracuse with Msgr. Driscoll officiating. After leaving D'Youville, Connie started her career at GE in Syracuse. She retired from ACCO International after 15 plus years. She was a member of the United Presbyterian Women of the Heuvelton Presbyterian Church.
