Billy Joe was born on May 12, 1949 to Harry D. and Jaime V. “King” Olson. He was owner and operator of Olson’s fast shop located at 208 S. Hill in Itasca for 10 years. He served his country honorably with the U.S. Army, during Vietnam. He was affiliated with Black Horse foundation. He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He will be missed by all.
Preceded in death by his parents, and son Johnny Olson. Survivived by his wife of 46 years Therisa Campbell Olson, 2 sons; Bobby Joe Olson and his wife Tammy, Billy Joe Olson J.R., 6 grandchildren; Justin Joe Olson, Lane A.J. Olson, Mackenzie R.P. Olson, Niccona S. Olson, Kaiydance J. Olson, Coby J. Olson, 2 greatgrandchildren; Jose H.J. Olson, Cathline Olson, and sister Ruby Getlin. Donations can be made to wounded warrior.
