Clara M. Higgins Oliver

KAYSVILLE a�" Clara (Sally) passed away peacefully November 11, 2008 at the age of 93. She was born August 16, 1915 in Enterprise, Morgan County, Utah. She was the oldest of six children born to John Leslie and Nessa Smith Green.

She married Frank D. Higgins June 15, 1943. He died October 23, 1977. She later married Howard Oliver in the Salt Lake Temple May 17, 1980. He died Feb 11, 2000.

She had been employed at HAFB as a reporter for the Hill Top Times for many years.

She was a member of the LDS Church and served in the relief society and was a visiting teacher. She was a member of the Daughter''s of Utah Pioneers and also a member in Arizona where she loved to spend the winter months. She wrote many pioneer histories through the years. She was full of life, love, and enjoyed traveling, painting and making ceramic dolls.

Surviving are her daughter, Jean (Dale) Bodily, Lake Havasu, Arizona and Kaysville; grandsons, Troy (DaLene) Bodily, Weston, Idaho; Brad (Brenda) Bodily, Clinton; sister, Amy (John) Ross, Clearfield; brother, Lawrence (Verla) Green, Brigham City.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 15, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 No. Main. Friends and family may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Enterprise, Morgan County Cemetery.
