Mr. Earl Holland, 57, died Monday, March 10, 2003, at home.
Born March 29, 1945, in Rutherford County, he was a son of the late Virgil and Anna Lou Lovelace Holland. He was self-employed in the textile industry and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Eunice Irvin and Betty Holland.
He is survived by his wife, Donnis McCombs Holland of the home; four sons, Earl Holland Jr. and his wife, Cristy, Tommy Holland and his wife, Judy, and James Holland and his wife, Kim, all of Forest City and Robert Holland and his wife, Lori, of Lattimore; a stepdaughter, Kathi Bennett and her husband, Steven, of Lattimore; a stepson, Michael Lovelace and his friend, Jackie, of Mooresboro; four brothers, J.B. Holland of Henrietta, Charles Ray Holland of Lattimore, James Holland of Forest City and Jerry Holland of Shelby; four sisters, Lucy England of Ellenboro, Kay Brunick of Shelby, Joyce Lail of Mooresboro and Becky Holland of Forest City; and 11 grandchildren.

Burial will be in Cleveland Memorial Park.
