Ivalou Ames, 90, passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at a care center in Soda Springs, ID.
Ivalou attended grade school in Swan Lake and graduated from Downey High school.
She married Harold “Bud” Coleman Perryman and they had a son, Thomas Lynn Perryman. They later divorced. She then married Charles William Ames. He preceded her in death.
Ivalou worked for Western Equipment for many years retiring from there.
She was a member of the LDS church. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, family gatherings, crocheting and tole painting.
Ivalou was well known at Edgewood where she was a resident for the past 7-8 years.
She is survived by her brother, Larry D. Petersen, Soda Springs, ID; grandchildren, Sheri (Dan) Sheehan, Georgia, John Perryman, Pocatello, ID and Sara (Mike) Samson, Utah.
She is preceded in death by her father, Ivan Petersen; mother, Merle Frederickson Petersen; son, Thomas Perryman; brothers, Wayne Petersen, Verl Petersen; granddaughter, Susan Perryman; and husband, Charlie Ames.
A grave dedication will be held on Saturday February 4, 2017 at 2 pm at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, 2864 S. 5th Ave. Pocatello, ID 83204.
