Karen Marie Ludke, 42, of Bossier City passed away peacefully January 22, 2017 from complications of Lupus, a disease she suffered for more than 20 years. Born in Oshkosh, WI to David W. and Gayle Ludke, Karen was a 1992 graduate of Parkway High School in Bossier, attended LSUS and resided in Dallas before moving back to Bossier to be close to family. She was a kind loving soul who loved her friends and family so deeply, putting their needs in front of her own. Her passions were spending time with family and friends, music, concerts and spoiling her many fur babies she had throughout her lifetime. Preceded in death by her dad and grandparents. Left to cherish her memory are mom Gayle Durfee (Rick), sister Beth Jones (AJ) of Bossier, brother Mark Ludke, nephew Kade Hamblin of Shreveport, fur baby Bailey, numerous family in WI and friends. She will be laid to rest next to her dad in Kaukauna, WI where a private family service will be held at a later date.
