Jimmy Lewis Stewart, age 77 of Letona, Arkansas completed his earthly journey on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 in Searcy, Arkansas. He was born on Wednesday, June 28, 1939 in Clay, Arkansas to the late Oral and Wilma Stewart.

Mr. Stewart is survived by his wife, Wanda; two sons Jim Stewart (Lucy) and Ted Stewart (Carrie) all of Searcy; four grandchildren, Sara and Ashton Stewart of Searcy, Seth Stewart of Beebe and Samantha Davidson (Bear) of Conway and five Great-grandchildren, Ryann, Leighton, Kayden, Kamryn and Brylan; one brother Guyndal Stewart (Joyce). He is also survived by other family members and a host of friends.

Jimmy retired from Vickers after 18 years of service with the company.

His true love was music and in the 70’s he recorded his own record in Nashville, Tennessee. He had his own television show with Cal Dring called The Jimmy Stewart Show which aired on Channel 7. He loved playing music every Friday night in a band along with his good friends. When not playing music, Jimmy enjoyed riding horses, raising cattle and working on his farm.

Graveside Funeral Service will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Mount Pisgah Cemetery, Letona, Arkansas with Billy Bonner officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel.
