Professional Wrestler. Born Scott Charles Bigelow in Asbury Park, New Jersey. A former bounty hunter before becoming Bam Bam Bigelow. He acted in the 1995 movie Major Payne and also in Joe's Apartment in 1996. However, his professional wrestling career would span twenty-one years, Bam Bam worked in major wrestling promotions, including the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), the original Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), and World Championship Wrestling (WCW). Bam Bam got his start back in 1986 managed by his trainer "Pretty Boy" Larry Sharpe. As a decent amateur wrestler in his native New Jersey at Neptune High School, and as a senior in 1979, he was the top-seeded heavyweight in the state tournament, but was beaten in the semifinals; he finished third, and had a 26-1 record that year. The previous year, he'd made the quarterfinals at state, losing to future Olympic champ Bruce Baumgartner. His training went quickly, and in July, 1986, as Crusher Yurkof, he won a battle royal in Memphis to be crowned Southern Heavyweight champion. Later that same year he won the World Class TV belt from Steve Simpson. In 1987 he would enter into the WWF. Bam Bam would entertain the wrestling world for 21 years before his retirement in 2006. In 2000 he and his wife Dana Fisher divorced, together they had three children, also in 2000, he received second degree burns on 40% of his body while rescuing three children from a burning house near his home. He spent two months recovering in a hospital. His girlfriend of several years, Janis Remiesiewicz found his lifeless body in their home, his death was caused by extreme levels of cocaine and the antianxiety drug benzodiazepine in his system. He was 45 years old. (bio by: Shock)
