Francis was the son of Burnet M Easley and Orpha Dorinda Garrett. He was born in Arkansas and was a Civil War Veteran. His obit actually spoke of him as being an "old confederate soldier" and I guess that would be the truth, as he was 92 years old.

He married Margarett Clementine Brinson.

BURIAL RITES HELD FOR FM EASLEY THURS.
Resident Of This County For Forty Years
Funeral services were read for Francis Marion Easley, age 92, pioneer and homesteader, at the Midway school building at 1:00 p m Thursday, December 26.
Easley, who had been a resident of Jackson county for over forty years, died at his home here Tuesday. He was an old confederate soldier and a member of the Freewill Baptist church.
He is survived by seven children, one daughter, Mrs. E.H. Davis, of Eldorado; six sons, J.W. of DeLeon, Texas; M.T and Ross of Sulphur, Oklahoma; Virgil of Dorchester, Texas; Zeb, of Arkansas; and Frank, of Eldorado; one brother R.R. Easley, Jr.(sic) of Comanche, Texas. Thirty-four grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren. Interment was held in the Odema cemetery.
