CONRAD ADAMS married SARAH BOONE and they had several children when he
died in 1801 in what is now Columbia County, PA. Then she married
CONRAD LAMBERSON. They had at least 5 children, three are known : John
m. Suzanna, Sarah m. James Anthony, and Isaac m. Martha Jane. The
LAMBERSON family came to Armstrong County in about 1819. Some of the
children by her first husband also came. SARAH BOONE ADAMS LAMBERSON and
her husband CONRAD LAMBERSON, and some of their children are buried in
Distant, Armstrong Co, PA. Her son, by her marriage to CONRAD ADAMS,
Samuel, is buried in Narrows Cemetery, near Distant.

Will of Conrad Adams
In the name of God, Amen. I Conrad Adams of Briar Creek Township in the County of Northumberland and State of Pennsylvania yeoman being weak in body, but of sound and perfect mind and memory, Blessed be Almighty God for the same, and calling to mind the uncertainty of this life and knowing that it is appointed unto all men once to die, do publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following (Indistinguishable)
I recommend my soul into the hand of the almighty God who gave it , and my body to the earth to be buried in a decent and Christian like burial at the desecration of my executor as hereafter named as towitching such worldly estate wherewith God has blessed me in this life. I Give and Dispose of the same as follows, First that all Federal Expenses and Charges and other Just Demands be first paid and Discharged out of my Movable Effects. I likewise give to my son William the sum of One Dollar which sum together with what he has already received shall be the whole of his share of my Estate both Real and personal forever and the remainder and residue of my Movable Effects I give into the care of My Dearly Beloved Wife Sarah together with the profits arising from my lands by her to be made use of in supporting herself and encarng and bringing up of my children that are or may be born by her. I likewise will that my wife and children live on my plantation together until the youngest child comes to the age of twenty one years without any division whatsoever and at (Indistinguishable)
That period of time, my whole Estate both Real and Personal to be sold to the best Advantage and equally divided among my children, Elizabeth, Elinor, Eve, Benjamin, Samuel, Henry, Catherine, and Jacob and any other that may be born to me hereafter and if any of my children should die without lawful heir before they come of age either before or after said division, the others shall be equal sharers in their share. I likewise will that if my wife Sarah be still living at the time of division , She shall and may have to herself if she please, during her natural life, her bed and furniture and a cow and twenty acres of land off the South by end of the Plantation. I now live on and at her decrease to divide to my children last above mentioned. I likewise will that my sons as soon as they arrive at the age of sixteen shall be bound by my executor to such trades they shall choose to learn. I likewise constitute make and appoint Sarah, My Beloved Wife and John Smith and Levi Aikman sole executors of this my last Will an d Testament and guardians of my children: hereby revoking all former will by me made.
Ratifying and confirming that this and no other to be my Last will and Testament.
In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the Nineteenth Day of January of One Thousand Eight Hundred and One.
