West Edmeston - December 12, Mrs Ancel Angell, a former resident of this town died Tuesday at the home of her Step-son, Aden Angell in Pittsfield. She was in the 70th year of her age and leaves besides her steson and his family, one daughter, Mrs Samuel Stillman of this place. She was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church.

The funeral of Mrs.Maria Angell was held at the home of her son Adin Angell in Pittsfield, Thursday. Mrs. Angell had been sick for several months. She was a resident here for many years and was loved and respected by all, who deeply regret her death. The interment was made in New Berlin. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs.Lucetta Williams and Mrs. C.N. Stone and one brother a daughter Mrs. Samuel Stillman and son Adin. About twenty from this village attended the funeral.
