BRIGHAM CITY - Donald Ray "Duck" Anderson, 76, our beloved Husband, Father Brother, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather and Friend passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on March 4, 2005.

Don was born on June 7, 1928 in Bear River City, a son of Ernest N. and lvy Mathias Anderson. He married Marion Lucille Neff and was married for 53 years.

He was born and raised in Bear River City on the Family Farm. He attended elementary school in Bear River City and graduated from Box Elder High School.

Dad played the banjo, piano, organ, and trumpet. He loved playing baseball, bowling. Enjoyed duck and pheasant hunting, yard work, and spending time at Duke and Lyle's shop.

He worked at DDO and HAFB in Missile Systems taking medical retirement after 32 years of military and civilian service. He had a private pilots license and enjoyed providing R&R flights for patients of Bushnell Military Hospital. He was a lifetime member of F.O.E. and he was a member of the American Legion.

Dad is survived by his devoted wife Marion, and his children, Dennis (Barbara) Kendall, Eagle River, AK; Geraldine (Reed) Halling, Salt Lake City; Dean (Lori) Anderson, Plain City; Donnell (Mike) Nelson, Brigham: JoEllen (Val) Gunther, Brigham; Ernest (Connie) Anderson. Brigham: Clayton (Sheri) Anderson, Plain City; 39 grandchildren (four serving LDS missions), 51 great-grandchildren, and two on the way. Two brothers, E. Ardell "Jiggs" (Jean) Anderson, Centerville, Robert N. (Reva) Anderson, Perry; two sisters, DeNece Barker. Willard: Jean (Max) Facer, Rupert ID; and one sister-in-law, Pat Anderson, Perry.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Byron C. Anderson.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday. March 8, 2005 at 11 a.m. at the Brigham City 3rd and 15th Ward. 203 North 200 West.

Friends may call on Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary 205 S. 100 E. Brigham City, and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Myers Mortuary.

Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery with Military Honors.
