Hugh B. Newell, of Haleyville, passed away December 31, 2016 at DCH Regional Medical Center, Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Mr. Newell was a member of Liberty Grove Church and attended Phil Campbell High School.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at 2 pm at Winston Memorial Cemetery in Haleyville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Exer Newell; sisters, Cora Mae Allison, Athel Kinard, Velma Beasley, Flora Smith and Bethany Pierce.
