Anthony Louis Cellucci of Sudbury, surrounded by his loving family, passed away, Thursday, December 15, 2016.
He was the husband of the late Gloria (Abate) Cellucci.

Past Grand Knight, Sudbury Council # 5188 Knights of Columbus and 4th Degree Knight, Bishop Cheverus Assembly # 389 in Boston.

Survived by his daughter, Christina A. Maiuri of Bellingham; his son and daughter in law, Robert and Robin Cellucci of Westford and his grandchildren; Daniel Cellucci, and Sharon Smiley and her husband Dan. He was the father in law of the late Bruce Maiuri and the brother of the late Dominic, Mary, Geraldine, Louis, James and Joseph.


Born in Brighton, Massachusetts where he was raised and educated, he was the son of the late Donato and Antoinette (Malizia) Cellucci.

After high school Tony joined the United States Navy and served in World War II.

He married in 1951 and moved to Sudbury. He was devoted to his family and built his own home.
A founding member of Our Lady of Fatima Parish, he was among those who laid the cornerstone of the church and part of a group who raised the funds to retire the debt of the new church in three years.

Tony was a Master Carpenter working in wood and was employed by the U.S. Public Health Service Hospital in Brighton, retiring in 1980.

Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 160 Concord Rd., Sudbury.
Interment will be in New Town Cemetery, Sudbury.
