Clayborn W. Ashby Jr., 21, of Louisville, a Navy aviation Ordnance Man Second Class, has been killed in action in Vietnam, the Defense Department has announced. He was earlier listed on Feb. 17 as missing. Ashby had been in the Navy 33 months and was sent to Vietnam Nov. 6, 1967. He was graduated in 1965 from Shawnee High School.
