ROGER D. RHYMER, 40, died at 4:30 a.m. Sunday at home from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was a lifelong resident of Monroeville and a construction worker with Marquardt Construction Co., Monroeville. Surviving are a son, Jeremy of Texas; two daughters, Jodie and Jamie, both of Texas; his mother Carol J. of Monroeville; his father, Richard "Blackie" of New Haven; three bothers, Eugene of New Haven and Rick and Randy both of Monroeville; two sisters, Mayann Slangland of Elkhart and Rosemary Wagner of Fort Wayne; and his grandmother and step-grandfather, Ruth and George Gaskill of Monroeville. Services at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Marquart & Jacobs Funeral Home, 111 S. Water St., Monroeville. Calling from 5 to 9 p.m. today, and from 9:30 a.m. until services Tuesday.
