Ara Morris Camfield was born to John Addison, and Mary Elizabeth Camfield, on June 30, 1864, in Kalamazoo County, Michigan. In 1887 he married Elinore Wilson, and made their home in Drywood, Wisconsin. Elinore had two children from a previous marriage, Jenny and Wilbur. In the early 1920s Ara and Ella moved to Waukegan Illinois. After the death of his wife in 1932, Ara moved back to the Drywood area. He died in 1937, and was buried in Pine Grove Cemetery in Drywood.
