Christopher Charles Shipley — age 55 of Lenoir City, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2016 at his home. Chris was the owner of F&S Farms and a truck driver for 37 years. He was an avid farmer and served as Second Lt. with the Loudon County Rescue Squad for 23 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Barbara Luttrell Shipley; Chris is survived by his wife of 35 years, Tammy Johnson Shipley; son and daughter-in-law, Nick and Julia Shipley; brother, Patrick Shipley; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Ken Ross, Rob and Samantha Johnson, Gary and Star Lovelace; father-in-law, Charles Johnson several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Click Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. Private interment will be in the Lakeview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to U.T. Cancer Center or to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
