Alida Reinders, 85, died last Thursday morning in the Countryside Retirement Home, Sioux City, the cause of death was the flu, after a brief illness.
Graveside services were held in Westlawn Cemetery, Orange City, at 10 a.m. Saturday. Rev. John T. Ebbers, Calvary Christian Reformed Church, conducted the services.
Alida Reinders was born in Orange City on March 22, 1899. She had been a school teacher in Orange City. In 1943 she moved to Sioux City and worked as a sales clerk in the Yonkers Department Store.
Miss Reinders is survived by a sister, Mrs. Gertrude Haan of Grand Rapids, Mich., and several nieces and nephews.
