1938 Joe found work on a poultry farm and continued living there as of 1938, verified from a letter he wrote to his cousin Jesse Jackson. Joe's nephew, Ernest Kelley in a letter to his mother, remembers a relative wrote to his mother Henrietta Kelley said her brother died in the state. This is verified by the DC found on Joe died 1951 LA Calif.
