Richard Caldanaro 73 of Rensselaer passed away on November 30, 2016 with his loving family by his side. Born on October 15, 1943 in Hazelcrest, Illinois to the late Anthony(Rose Valentich) Caldanaro. Richard was a 1961 graduate of Wheatfield High School. Richard loved his 1934 Ford, bird watching, painting, drawing, playing the violin, and banjo, gardening, and was a great handyman. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, wife; Mary, siblings; Anthony Caldanaro, and Maureen Yoder. Survived by children; Renee(Ryon) Shaw, Alicia(Ryan) Wildfang, Richard Jr(Robin) Caldanaro, Maria(Robert) Caldanaro, Sara(Aaron) Witt, and Matthew Caldanaro, siblings; Jacque(Louella) Caldanaro, and Joanne Craw, as well as 17 grandchildren.
