Benjamin was the son of Conrad Yarian and Eve Rupert of Unity Township, Columbiana County, Ohio.

He married 1st March 15, 1835, Columbiana County, Ohio, to Maria Sheets born ca.1818 and died ca.1843, daughter of John Sheets and Catherine Rupert.

He married 2nd to Saloma "Sally" Miller.

Benjamin moved about 1840 to Van Wert County, Ohio, and by 1854 had settled in Mercer County, Pennsylvania.


NOTE: Although the photo is labeled Benjamin Yarian, it has been thought by others to be of Benjamin Rupert.


Besides the children linked below he had:

Franklin F. Yarian (Mar 15,1839-May 26,1843).

Catherine Yarian (Mar 6,1843-Jun 1843).

Elizabeth Yarian b.Jan 1,1848.

Sabina Yarian b.Jul 14,1857.

Emma Celesta b.Sep 2, 1859.


Franklin and Catherine probably died in Van Wert County, Ohio, and were probably buried in Pence Cemetery.
