Elder Lemuel KING, 85, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John KERBY. He was born in Kentucky 4 April 1810. At the age of ten years he moved with his parents to Illinois and from Illinois to Missouri in 1850. In 1876 he moved to Texas with his wife and several children. He moved back to Missouri in 1878 where he spent the remainder of his life. His wife died six years ago. There were born into them 13 children, six of whom survive. He was a member of M. E. church. His remains were laid to rest in the family cemetery known now as Johnson farm. He died in July 1895.
