Ryan Andrew Oehring, 36, of Boyne Falls, MI and formerly of St. Charles, MI, died unexpectedly on October 30, 2016.

Ryan was born on February 27, 1980 in Saginaw, MI, the son of William and Sandra (Weisbarth) Oehring and was raised in a Christian home in St. Charles, graduating in 1999. Following high school, Ryan worked as a floor installer before working for Nexteer Automotive for 9 years as a Machinist. In January of this year, he went to work for Honeywell in Boyne City, MI.

On August 12, 2000, Ryan married his high school sweetheart, Lisa Bunker, and together they had three children, Austin, Riley, and Grant.

Ryan was a good man, a firm believer in Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. He was always there to lend a helping hand without ever expecting anything in return. Family was everything to him. He treasured going fishing with his dad at Beaver Lake and riding dirt bikes with his boys. Ryan enjoyed hunting, playing euchre, grilling out, eating his mom's homemade hot, spicy pickles, watching NASCAR, and attending Kid Rock concerts with his best friend, Jason Braun . He spent a lot of time with his nieces and nephews, and they affectionately referred to him as “Uncle” or “Ry Ry”.

In addition to his wife and sons, Ryan is survived by his parents, William and Sandra Oehring; 2 brothers, Jonathon (Audrey) Oehring and Stephen (Michelle) Oehring; Grandparents, Donald and Joan Weisbarth; mother-in-law, Deborah Bunker; sisters and brothers-in-law, Michael (Jennifer) Bunker, Shannon (William) Martin, and Veronica (Eric) Pratt; grandparent-in-law, Eloise (Ken) Kalkofen and Irene Ruediger; his 7 Godchildren Gabrielle and Cole Moulton, Madison and Preston Martin, Taryn and Cyrus Pratt, and Evan Oehring, and by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on November 11th from 5-8pm at the Trinity Baptist Church in St. Charles Michigan. A memorial service celebrating Ryan’s life will be held on November 12th at 11:00am at the church.
