She passed away on January 17, 1997, 2 days shy of her 77th Birthday, she was survived by her children and their spouses, 4 Grandchildren, 4 Great-Grandchildren, 1 Brother and Sister-in-Law and 1 Sister and Brother-in-Law. She was predeceased in death by her husband Bennie, Parents George and Myrtle Chambless, and Brother George Chambless.
