Lorraine Roberts was born Feb. 19, 1913, in Boone, Iowa. She married Truman Roberts in 1933 and moved to Texas in 1998 after his death. She was a farmer's wife who made award winning cherry pies and quilts. She also worked in retail stores for 30 years. Lorraine was a member of the Toppers Class at South Oaks Baptist Church of Arlington. She was preceded in death by her husband and one son. Survivors: Son, Stanley Roberts and wife, Brenda, of Sacramento, Calif.; daughter, Samantha Roberts of Arlington; sisters, Betty Stolte of Boone, Iowa, Arlene Kuhlman of Deer Park, Ill.; grandchild, Melissa Roberts of Dunsmuir, Calif.; great-grandchild, Michael, Brent and Elizabeth; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend and "adopted daughter," Jodi Berry of Arlington.
